

Lake Nakuru National Park
It’s the first rhino sanctuary in Kenya and it was established right after the rhino become endangered species. The park hosts large population of them and its packed with stunning pink flamingoes. The flamingoes both greater and lesser gather at the shores to extract blue green algae for food, forming far and are main are main attraction in the park.
WILDLIFE
The park supports a wide ecological diversity with flamingoes and other waterbirds being the major attraction of the area. The ecosystem provides about 56 different species of mammals including the white rhinos and buffaloes with variety of terrestrial birds numbering nearly 450 species. Wildlife such as the rock hyrax, Columbus monkey, hippos, lions, leopard, white and black rhinos, waterbuck, spotted hyena and the golden cat, Thomson and grant gazelle and Roth child giraffes live here. The park has high concentration of animals therefore easy to encounter wildlife during safari trails.
