i) Your contract in respect of your holiday is made with SAMAFRIKA SAFARIS and all bookings must be made through an authorized representative of the company at the time of booking. The booking form must be completed and submitted together with 40% of the total cost of the trip.
ii) Your holiday must be paid in full at least 30 days before the arrival date (if not a last-minute booking). If the payment is not received by the due date, the company reserves the right to cancel the booking and retain the deposit. The person who signs the booking form guarantees payment of the total booking as shown in the booking form.
iii) If you book within 30 days of your departure date, payment must be made in full at the time of booking. All special requests, such as dietary requirements, should be noted in the booking form.
i) The company reserves the right to notify you of any increase in price before accepting your deposit. After a confirmation invoice has been issued, you can pay for your holiday in installments unless you choose to pay in full at the time of booking. The price of your holiday is subject to surcharges in certain limited circumstances. However, a surcharge will only be levied to account for variations in transport costs, including the cost of fuel, increases in normal published airfares, increases in government taxes, or changes introduced by regulatory bodies.
ii) The company will absorb an amount equal to 2% of your holiday price (excluding insurance and amendment charges) before passing any surcharge to you. Surcharges will only be notified via a revised confirmation invoice sent to you.
iii) If a surcharge increases the total price shown on your original confirmation invoice by 10% or more, you may cancel your booking within 10 days of the date of issue of the revised invoice and obtain a full refund.
i) Major cancellations include changes to the airport, delays in departure or return by more than 12 hours, and changes to inferior accommodation standards.
ii) Compensation will not be made for changes or cancellations caused by force majeure, such as war, civil strife, industrial disputes, terrorist activity, fire, technical problems, airport closures, natural or man-made disasters, adverse weather conditions, or any other event the company cannot control.
iii) If you fail to pay the balance of the holiday at least 30 days before departure, the company will treat the booking as canceled and levy cancellation charges as follows:
